Jessica is the Bravest Mama You’ll Ever Meet 
Sometimes, the most resilient hearts come in the smallest packages. Jessica is a 12-15 lb, 2-3 year old bundle of hope, and her journey to get here has been anything but easy.

A year ago, Jessica was found abandoned on the streets of Puerto Rico, huddled in a cramped space between a fence and a trash can. She refused to move, protecting a "secret" despite the rescuers' best efforts to coax her out. After nearly half an hour, they realized why she was so determined, she was shielding her three tiny babies.  She had been thrown out with her litter, yet even in her darkest hour, was trying her best to be a good mother.

Personality: Despite everything, Jessica is a happy girl, ready to leave the shelter life behind.

Size: A perfect lap-sized 12-15 lbs.

Status: Fully vetted, spayed, with all paperwork ready for her arrival on March 6th.

After a year in the shelter and a lifetime of hoping for a loving family, it’s finally Jessica’s turn to fly to the mainland where a loving home is possible..

Can You Be Her Hero?
We are looking for a foster or an adopter to welcome Jessica home. We provide fosters with everything they need, you just provide the love she’s been waiting for and the time she needs to decompress and feel secure.  If looking to adopt, her adoption fee is $395.
